PROFILE
Since a very young age, golf has been a part of my life on a daily basis. My very first memory on the course is holing a 30-yard shot with my father standing next to me. This great memory is one of many that helped to make my love for golf only grow stronger as I matured. While in high school, I began my competitive career as a member of the golf team. It was a rewarding and successful experience as only one match was lost during my four years playing on the team.
My golfing abilities sent me to SUNY at New Palz to play for the university's golf team. I enjoyed two wonderful seasons of college golf before the program was terminated. At this point, I decided to forgo my amateur status and become a PGA Professional. To attain my PGA status, I began working at well-respected private country clubs and enrolled in the PGA education program. In short time, I was elected to PGA membership and continue to be an active member.
My professional experience has seen me improve and advance my teaching abilities. From Westchester Country Club, where I began to hone my craft, to my current position at Fenway Golf Club, I have learned many different styles of teaching and management. It is this diverse range of experiences that has made me the PGA Professional I am today.
My goal in golf from the time I began my career is to become a Head Golf Professional. I have always seen this position as a mix of being a business man, teacher, ambassador, and friend. I embrace this entirely and work diligently to attain this position.
