My career has been extremely rewarding to date and I enjoy each day at the club. A few of my key career highlights include:

— PGA Certified in Golf Operations, this education elevates me to the top 3% of PGA

   professionals who have completed training.

— Forward-thinking golf instruction that has netted positive results for students, highlighted

   by several students winning tournaments while under my guidance.

— A growth mindset that has led me to improve my coaching skill every year.

   2013 - TPI Certified Level 2 Golf Coach

   2014 - US Kids Top 50 Teacher award

   2015 - Certified Golf Coaches Seminars - Junior Program & Mastering the Mental Game

   2018 - Completed Level 2 Certification with Mike Adams BioSwing Dynamics group.

— A wide network of strong relationships with other outstanding Golf Professionals in the

   Met Section and beyond. This will yield positive results in both staffing and interclub

   opportunities for the membership.

HIGHLIGHTS

— A long history of enthusiastic Junior Golf Coaching, this includes the revitalization of the junior

   program here. I have expanded the instructional opportunities, helped foster strong participation

   in the PGA Junior League and local interclub tournaments, as well as coaching Mark Gertsen to a

   national AJGA ranking and being actively looked at by Ivy League golf programs

— Skilled in mentoring staff members, providing the support and leadership that was

   instrumental in propelling our 2nd Assistants onto successful careers.

— Strong abilities related to business management of the Golf Shop, including buying,

   budgeting, inventory tracking, scheduling and staffing.

— Added experience in running a club’s entire golf operations as the interim Managing

   Professional while at Silver Spring Country Club resulting in continuity and member

   satisfaction through the painful death of their long time Head Golf Professional.
